Job Purpose The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government seeks a dynamic individual to manage subsidy programs and provide effective liaison services to various stakeholders in Cape Town, CBD.
Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent)
- Relevant work experience or a three-year tertiary qualification without working experience
Recommendation
- Knowledge of Housing Act and population register/waiting list
Key Performance Areas
- Ensure applicants adhere to qualifying criteria and allocation policy
- Capture applications on Housing Subsidy System
- Handle subsidy-related telephonic inquiries in line with the Housing Act
- Calculate outstanding balances for conveyancing attorneys/sellers/bond accounts of subsidy applicants
- Draft letters of undertaking/approval and send to relevant parties
- Liaise with the archive register for opening files for payments and audit purposes

- Understanding of Housing Subsidy System, Housing Act, Population register

Remuneration
- R 202 233 per annum (Salary Level 5)
